Photostream keeps turning off in iPhoto.

Every time I quit and then reopen iPhoto, photostream is in a turned off state. Is this a bug or am I missing some setting?

I'm having same problem. When I turn photostream back on within iPhoto, all of my previous photos are loaded... Also, the system settings consistently show the iCloud settings for photostream as on.

I am having the same issue with this. As an aside, photo stream is not working on my Windows 7 computer at work. Although this launch went better than mobileme, I think it is still a C- grade. I'm really not sure why Apple is trying to recreate the wheel in terms of syncing instead of using some of their cash horde to purchase a company like sugarsync.

I really like some of Apple's in-house software, but they are really behind when it comes to syncing services. I think I'm going to wait using icloud for a good 6 months until they have worked out the bugs and added more functionality.

At least with sugarsync, I can view every spreadsheet and document on my iphone, I just can't save any edits. I don't have to "upload" through a webpage.

I'm having the same problem on my iMac. After restarting iPhoto, photostream is off. I click the enable button and the screen flashes to the full photostream briefly, then returns to the enable screen. I click the button a second time and this time, the photostream is empty and it redownloads all my photos again. I tried rebuilding my iPhoto library, but it only solved the problem for a week. The problem has since returned. I'm running iPhoto on my MacBook Air and it has no problems with photostream.
