How to start Windows 7 in safe mode with bootcamp?

So my computer had a crash this afternoon in Win7 (it happened before, but still...) and tried to reboot my MBP.

I pressed Alt, selected my Win7 partition, and that was it... No Safe mode selection screen, no Windows Logo
showing it's booting properly, just a black screen...

Anyone had something similar? And most importantly, how can this be fixed?

I tried that link aswel, but my boot does not respond to F8...

I'll guide you through startup:

* Turn on, hold alt

* Select Win7 partition

* Here's where the fun starts: computer screen goes black (wich was normal),

I see the blinking line (wich is also normal), then screen goes black again but

here it stops responding...

I tried hitting F8 on several points in time during boot but none seem to work.

Apple's EFI has an issue, cripples the abilty to do two things at once. It can't seem to accept ALT and then also do something else.... which is why I said

Then try. But F8 on Macs may not always kick in. Wired keyboards are fine but if it depends on a driver you are out of luck.

Change the default boot OS so you don't need to use ALT!

To boot frm DVD use 'c' or use ALT of course for that

Hi again,

So finally took some time to figure stuff out:

When i go to the BootDisk application in OSX, my Win7 partition is nowhere to be found?

I can access the disk, read and write stuff to it, but i can't seem to boot from it...

Does this mean my boot files got corrupted/destroyed? I'd rather not have to back everything
up again, to do a reformat, cuz i have Win7 not on CD, but bought it on a flashdrive.

This is getting way to serious now...

Steps:

1-Open command prompt with admin mode

Or Boot from DVD in command prompt mode.(This is what i experienced, able to show the safe mode menu)

2- Write this command "bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy" and click enter

3- You can now press F8 while Windows 8 starts in order to access Safe Mode and other Advanced Boot options.
