iphone 4s won't sync in itunes now...

iphone 4s won't sync in itunes now...

I have an iPhone 4s. I received it and had it working on October 14... As of 10/29 my phone 4s was syncing fine with iTunes on my powerbook. As of tonight, all that happens is my iphone shows up in iTunes then itunes hangs... the little sync symbol beside my iphone in itunes spins a couple of times and then freezes... I open "force quit" and it says iTunes "not responding"... After literally 20 force quits, I followed Apple's guide to uninstall and reinstall itunes. Made no difference. Because the icloud has a serious bug, when it gave me a message saying my icloud storage was almost full, I cannot download even app updates on my 4s without connecting to itunes until a patch fixes the problem. But now I can't get my phone 4s to sync in itunes either...

I'm so frustrated... Please help....

BTW, I just tried hooking up my old iphone and itunes syncs fine with it... it's just my new iphone that suddenly has this problem...

Iphone synched normally the first time, but refuses to do so now, crashing at the "backup" stage, whereas my 3gs continues to synch normally to this pc, and both phones also synch OK to a second PC.

tonight i'm going to factory reset my 4s and see if this resolves the issue.
