How do I transfer data from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4S?

Is it possible to migrate data from an old iPhone 3G (under iOS4) to a new iPhone 4S (under iOS5)?

I would like to know this before rushing out to the stores and buy myself the new iPhone 4S...
