iPad and os5

Since the up grade to OS5 my iPad has slowed to a crawl and battery life is TERRIBLE. Anyone experiencing the same and any suggestions?

There have been a number of discussions regarding problems that the update to iOS 5 has caused for different users. Safari crashes, apps crashing, loss of apps, loss of data, slower performance, loss of battery life and so on.

You may want to do a search in the upper right portion of the screen (you will see a blue search button) and type in some keywords like "iOS 5 battery life" or iOS 5 and iPad performance" - something to that effect.

You can see what others have tried and see if any of those suggestions work for you. The best thing to do may be to restore your device - to a backup first and if it doesn't help - restore to factory settings and then begin adding your content back onto the device gradually and see if there is any improvement.

All in all, the update has gone pretty well for my and I am using the iPad 1 WiFi only - I've had a couple of minor issues, but nothing earth shattering and nothing that I haven't been able to sort out - at least to this point anyway.
