Hello

Thinking of buying the Apple Tv for streaming JPG photos to my Sony Ex720 TV. But the TV is very selective on color profiles of JPG (won't accept profile 4:4:4).
So which profile will be submitted from Apple TV?
Thank you for answer.

Best regards

Reason for 4:4:4 fault

Have taken some pictures with a pocket camera which automatically saves in jpg format on the memory card. At the same time I took some pictures with Dslr which saves in raw format. The raw files were modified in Lightroom and saved as jpg. All jpg files were copy onto a fat32 usb stick and the dslr images wouldn't show but the pocket camera images no problem.

Sony hinted at differences in color profiles and the files were checked in a program recommended by Sony. So at the moment it isn't very funny to show pictures on ipad or pc monitor when you have a new tv standing.

So any feedback are welcome.

Agh I see. The TV when processing the images is having a problem with JPEG images for whatever reason. The Apple TV won't send the TV a JPEG image, it will generate a video stream using your slideshow settings and the TV will receive the info in the same way it receives it for a video.

Of course I can't absolutely guarantee the Apple TV won't have a problem with the JPEG image, but I sort of doubt it. If you want to email me one of your photo's I can always try it for you.
