Syncing Old iPod to New Computer?

I've had my iPod touch for awhile now and in the process I have bought music from itunes with different computers. I am no longer able to access the old computers so I have been buying songs through my iPod touch while connected to the internet. I recently got a new computer and now am able to have my songs put onto it, however, I don't want my songs to get deleted. I paid for all my songs through Apple and I'd really be upset if it was all erased. Is there anything I can do?

iPod touch, Windows 7

- Transfer the iTunes purchases by:

iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer

- If you have other music you need to use a third-party program like one of those discused here:

Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities

- To retain other data on the iPOd, make a backup of the iPod. Do this by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPid under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.

- Restore from that backup and sync as necessary.

If you are in the USA, you can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
