My MacBook Pro's volume sounds lower than my friend's MacBook Pro. I have hard-hearing and I can hear clearly when I'm watching a video on my friend's MacBook Pro. We have the same model, software updates, version, etc. How do I get my volume settings as loud as hers?

even turned all the way up by pressing the F12 key it still does not sound as loud as your friends? If this is the case, I would take it to an Apple store or AASP to have them look at it.

No, it doesn't sound as loud as my friend's when I press the F12 key. But thank you, I will have my MacBook Pro checked out at the Apple Store.
