Q: UA0079 USB Server and MBP

Hi,

I have bought the USB server from logilink because I want to connect my multifunctional on this server so that I can use this from several machines remotely. The problem is that my MBP does not see the USB server and therefor I am not able to configure it. On the website of Logilink are no drivers or software how to connect to this server.

Can somebody tell me how I can find new hardware on my MBP? and even better; does anybody know an answer to my problem regarding this server?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Regards.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

    Dear Mrs./Mr. Sotiropoulos,

With Mac you have to connect via Browser with the UA0079.

Then you must find UA0079 and it will show the connected device on the screen.

Then you click on it to connect.

Please note that you can't connect HDD's with the UA0079.

The UA0079 only supports Printers under Mac.

    I have the same problem.

I read all your post and i did what they wrote on the browser typing the IP address. It shows al the printers connected to the server  but  there is no the "connect" button so i cannot connect...

    for HD's:

... a HD once connected with a windows pc, if a folder is shared, mac is able to see the shared one...
