I am planning on purchasing a New iPod Touch and also the MIFI. Will I then be able to download WhatsApp onto the iPod and will it work once I'm connected to the Internet through MIFI or WIFI? Thank you for your help in advance 🙂

No. About a year or so ago, the app developer updated the app to drop support for the iPod. The current app will not even install on the iPod.
Thanks Illaass for the info! But, what if you download the iPhone Configuration Utility on the iPod? and then add the application vis a vis your MAC?
That might work. However, one user posted a week or so ago that the app did not work on the iPod. They used the configuration utility to load it.
