iPhone 4s Headphone Jack not working...

I have had my iPhone 4s for just over two weeks now and this morning when i went to plug my headphones in i got no sound.
i tried multiple pairs of headphones, restoring my device, and i have checked all the obvious settings that could have stopped sound being played.

The phone plays music fine throught the speakers and recognises that there are headphones plugged in but doesnt play any sound.

Well, I got my iPhone a week ago and the headphone was not working right. There was sound only on the right ear. I check the internet for clues and one link explained that it was a software issue and suggested to do a iPhone restore from iTunes. I did that without no success. I end up to go at the Apple Store and they did a "Reset all settings" on the iPhone and now sounds are coming from both left and right ears.

What they explained to me is that the Restore from iTunes is the right thing to do. However, once the restore is done you should not perform "Restore from Backup". This will bring the previous bugs as well (which I did). Then by just performing the reset all settings it solve my problem.

In Short....performe a Restore as a new phone and it should solve your problem. However, by doing so..you will have to re-install all your Apps.

Good luck
