can Macmini3,1 be upgraded to Lion OS?

I have found out that my MacBook Pro circa 2005 - the first Intel chipset MacBook cannot be uopgraded to Lion OS. I want to find out if our Macmini3,1 can be upgraded to Lion OS?

Yes, I am running Lion on my own model 3,1 Mac mini.

According to this page, all the "3,1" mini models have "Core 2 Duo" processors, so you should also be able to run Lion provided you have at least 2GB of RAM (more would be better) and are currently running Snow Leopard. To be sure about your processor and installed RAM, go to the Apple menu at the top left of the screen and click "About this Mac".
