Macbook Pro pad/magic mouse issues

After installing magic mouse, my Macbook pro pad does not have all touch features, such as two and three finger swipes. i.e. I can't swipe the pad to go to Dashboard but the magic mouse can. I can scroll up and down, scroll through Safari pages but on the Finder level and can't swipe!

There was a post regarding this and said to check the Universal Access. I did so and settings appear to be as the post indicated. I tried turning off the mouse, and still don't have these features.
