Sync contacts between iCloud and GMail

Early with MobileMe I was able to sync contacts between my Mac, iPhone, iPad and GMail but now, since I moved to iCloud the contacts doesn't sync between iCloud and GMail. GMail contacts are stored locally on my Mac and iCloud contacts are stored in iCloud tab.

Is there a way that I can sync contacts between iCloud and Gmail permanently and automatically?
