iTunes "Stutters" When I Surf The Web

Sometimes when surfing the web -- as new pages load or update -- I hear a slight stutter in the iTunes songs playing. It isn't a big deal but seems weird. Also I sometimes fear a hiccup indicates a bigger problem.

This is a new problem ... I didn't experience until I upgraded my modem.

I've just installed a new cable modem -- I have a Cisco DPC3825 and it is plugged direct into my iMac (ethernet cable not wifi)

On my 21 1/2" iMac using the internal speakers I'm running:

iTunes 10.5

OS X 10.6.8

Google Chrome 15.0.874.106

Any ideas?

Also ... I'm posting this question here but if you think I should post elsewhere -- iTunes, Snow Leopard, ... -- I'll give that a try.
