My iphone 4s screen has gone blank. It was working fine, and the battery indicator showed that it was nearly fully charged. Nothing happens when I press the on/off switch. I have also tried to press the on/off switch together. What can I do?

I would reconnect to the charger via the usb and see if that will wake your phone. If that doesn't work then press the on/off button while holding the home button. Failing that exchange it.
