I was looking under my apps listed under location services and I noticed a new app called WebSheet but its a blank icon and it gives me an option to turn on the location services. Can anyone tell me what this app is or how it got on my phone and how I get rid of it?
Are you saying you can't find it in on a home screen page or inside a folder? Did you search for it in the Search iPhone box?
"WebSheet" isn't in the iPhone App store. Is your phone jailbroken?
my iphone isnt jailbroken and i dont see any apps called websheet. i just see it under location services
What happens when you enter "websheet" (without the quotation marks) in the spotlight search box?
nothing comes up
It may be a webb app that was incompletely deleted. You may have to restore the phone in iTunes to get rid of it.
I am running an AT&T iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and I have the same WebSheet entry in MY location services screen. I don't remember seeing it in the initial iOS 5 release or an any other previous version.
Anyone have any idea what this might be? I could start deleting apps until it goes away, but I'd rather not have to go to that extreme. A spotlight search for that brings up nothing.
I have the same thing on mine. None the wiser on what it is though 😟.
If what I have seen is true, its an integrated setting under Location Services, that includes storing like web certificates and stuff like that for Safari.
Did you ever find out what WebSheet is? It just showed up on my iPad.
