Pictures saved from Camera+ app don't sync through iCloud

Camera+ has this feature that lets you store pictures temporarely in what they call "Lightbox" before you save them to Camera Roll. I noticed today that pictures i save from Lightobx to Camera Roll don't sync through iCloud.

Any way to force a sync? is it even supposed to sync if the picture was taken using a 3rd party camera app?
