after downloading ios 5, i tried to add a new calander event, and it keeps telling me it cannot save event "that event does not belong to that event store". i use my calander to keep track of my work schedule, and i need it to work right. please help.

Hi, On the app calendar, you see on the top "Calendar".
You touch it.
In it, you see all the calendar you manage...
When you create an event, you choose wich calendar you modify.
Choose the one of your business.
Have a nice day.
I also turned my phone off and back on again and it allowed me to add an event....go figure???
Thanks for the help. You need to power off the phone and then it will mystreiously allow you to add your event. Remember, nothing is perfect, but, this beats the heck out of any Windows or Droid I have ever used.🙂
Had same problem suddenly - add was at right top corner and could not save events. Click on Calendars at bottom of screen Click on Show all Calendars - Hide All Calendars is now on screen.
Find the date you want , Press + to add the event and then press Add to save it. You can see the event (below).
