I have restored my iPhone and am now trying to sync it to ITunes (I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes 10.5) but the sync button is greyed out. What am I doign wrong?

    I am having the same issue with my iPod touch. I installed both iOS 5 and iTunes 10.5 this weekend, and now the sync button (in iTunes, on the summary tab of my device info) is always greyed out.


    [edit to add]: I've restarted my computer several times, and also tried restoring the iPod several times, to no avail. I'm running Vista.


    Anyone have any answers?

    I am having this problem too! Im going crazy, no one has replied to my discussion about it.

    Did either of you manage to fix it?



    I just turned of my Mcaffee firewall and everything is working again!

    I'm so relieved I might cry!
