Shifting iOS backups to another computer using iCloud?

I've been using my MacBook Pro as my primary syncing device, but I want to shift everything over to my Mac Mini that I'm using as a media center. When I try to sync my iDevices to it, I get the expected "iTunes won't let you sync to more than one device" warning and it says it will delete everything on it.

I tried to do a restore on the Mini, then restored the backup from iCloud. The problem is, iTunes didn't like it still and flashed up the same warning as before.

Is there a way to sync to another computer easily without losing all of my data? Once I'm over to the Mini, I won't be syncing to the MBP again.
