Your expression will begin with the = sign. The expression for data in column A will have the form:


=Constant1 * A + Constant2


Place this expression in any column of the first calculation row and Fill or Copy/Paste to the other rows of that column.


I recommend that you download the Numbers User Guide from the Help menu. Read at least the first chapter.
