where are published calendars

During the migration from MobileMe to iCloud, I was told to publish my iCal calendars so that the data in them would be "safe", and then do some cutting and pasting of strange web addresses...don't remember exactly how. Anyway, the migration was a mess in a number of ways, first of all because half my calendars are lost. Does anyone know WHERE published calendars are? Then I could go and get them back. Thanks.
