Multiplayer on gamecenter won't work?

So me and my friend have been trying to play each other on game center, and whenever i try to invite her the thingy just spins and spins then it says failed. So i decided i'll just play with a stranger and clicked "play now" at the top corner. And it kept saying "Finding Players" and it kept doing that for like 2 minutes until the thing would close and i'd get this:

It used to work! Idk what it is please help. I also can't play multiplayer for fruit ninja too. I think this explains why me an my friend haven't been able to play each other. What's this local player data nonsense?? I have an ipod touch. it's that new one with the camera.

I've rebooted my ipod

I've signed out of game center then back in.

I have really really good connection.
