Id like to play music through radio from my phone but how does that rly work and is it even possible with iphone4 with iOS5?

No, FM transmissîn is not possible.

The iPhone does not have an FM transmitter built in, but there are many 3rd party FM adapters available that will work with the iPhone.

Just for the sake of completeness, the other options are:
Depending on how far way the radio is from your iPhone, you can connect them via an audio cable;
Some Wi-Fi routers (such as AirPort Express) have a redirect audio out port;
Some audio equipment has Wi-Fi built in and support Apple's AirPlay specification;
If you have AppleTV, you can connect it to your audio equipment and use iTunes, rather that iPhone, to play and control the music.
