When I right-click my wireless mouse, dashboard comes up, making the right-click functions not work. It used to work so I don't know what has changed. Any ideas?

When I right-click my wireless mouse, dashboard comes up onto the screen, so I can't use the right-click functions. Any idea how to get back my right-clicking and leave dashboard for when I want it?

Have you checked your mouse settings in System Preferences?

ie:

1) go to the white menu bar at the top of the screen

2) click on the Apple menu

3) chose "System Preferences..." from the Apple Menu

4) Click the "Show All" Button

5) click on the "Mouse" icon

6) make sure Secondary click is checked, and the secondary click menu next to the check box is set to right click.
