I upgraded my husbands iphone to iOS5 software. The iphone backup file that was saved to his PC had a Trojan Horse virus. He lost everything on his phone because the iphone blocked restoring the phone and identifed the Trojan Horse virus. His phone now tries to send an email to everyone in his contact list that we believe contains the virus. Can anyone help with resolving this issue?

There have been NO reported viruses for an iPhone. Don't worry about it.
The Trojan Horse virus is very real. The file that was backed up to our computer that contained the Trojan Horse is very real. His phone sending out malicious messages to everyone in his contact list from his iphone is very real.
The phone is NOT sending out messages. You can think what you wish, but there has NEVER been a reported virus or trojan horse for the iOS platform. This would be quite newsworthy if it was indeed true.
Let me rephrase the question. His email account on his iphone is sending out malicious messages. I understand that the operating system may not be the problem, but the email account is somehow infected. I'm just trying to figure out how to stop it.
