Joe D:I will be glad to assist you with your issue.

Joe D:Please follow the instructions below.

Joe D:To setup your Peoplepc account in IPAD, please follow the below steps in your IPAD

Joe D:1) Click the Settings button.

Joe D:2) Click the Other option

Joe D:3) Enter in your Name, Email Address, Email Password and a Description name for this Address. You can give the Description option any name you like. A common Description name is simply your Email address. Click Save when you are done.

Joe D:4) If your iPad is online, it will now attempt to automatically configure your Email settings. This may take a couple of minutes. If it is successful, it will take you directly to your Inbox on the iPad. If it fails you will be asked to manually enter in your Peoplepc Email settings.

Joe D:5) If your iPad cannot find your server settings automatically, it will ask you to enter them. Select the POP option and ensure the following options are correct:

Joe D:Name : Your Desired name

Joe D:Address : Your complete Peoplepc email address

Joe D:Description: Your complete Peoplepc email address

Joe D:Under incoming server

Joe D:Host name: pop.peoplepc.com

Joe D:User name: Your complete Peoplepc email address

Joe D:Password: Your Peoplepc password

Joe D:Under outgoing server

Joe D: smtpauth.peoplepc.com.

Joe D:User name: Your complete Peoplepc email address

Joe D:Password: Your Peoplepc password

Joe D:6) Your iPad lists your messages under the Inbox Button. To display an Email, click the Inbox button and tap the message you want to read.

message will say: say's it cannot connect using SSL

Joe D:Please click on save.

check:does this take a while?

Joe D:Okay.

Joe D:Yes it takes a while .

Joe D:I apologize for the inconvenience.

message will say:now it says it cannot get mail

Joe D:Please proceed without SSL.

message will say the following:the mail server pop.peoplepc.com is not responding. verify that you have entered the correct account info in the mail setting

Joe D:Please check the settings below on your Ipad.

Joe D:The incoming server should be pop.peoplepc.com

Joe D:The outgoing server should be smtpauth.peoplepc.com

Joe D:SSL option if available should be unchecked.

Joe D:The incoming port number is 110.

Joe D:The outgoing port number is 587.

Joe D:There should be a check mark on 'My Server requires authentication'.

Joe D:After that please make sure you enter your complete PeoplePC email address and password.

Joe D:The email protocol type should be POP3.

that should help
