iPhone 4S Receiver does not work

Hi, I have just bought an iPhone 4S and the receiver does not work at all. I am able to call if I use the speaker or the headphones but not through the receiver. Is there a case that this is a software issue or just a broken receiver? I live in Copenhagen, Denmark and there is no Apple Store but there is authorized service. Do you know how many days would they keep it to fix it (if this is a hardware problem)?

Make a call with your headphones in, while on the call switch to speakerphone, then unplug the headphones and turn the speakerphone off...you should be able to hear through the receiver now. I had this problem for over a month before I found a post with a solution that actually worked. Good Luck!!
