Extra long piece of audio plays in iTunes but not on iPod

I have downloaded a legal 6 hour set from a dj. Uploaded it to iTunes and it plays perfectly. When i sync it to my iPod Touch it shows as being 6 hours long but only plays for approx 25 mins and then stops, and closes. If i try "scrubbing" past the 25 minute point it just closes the screen.

I have upgraded my iTunes and iPod software to the latest, removed the piece if audio and re-synced it...same problem...and yes there is enough space on my iPod for it to fit :-)

Any ideas...really frustrating me!
