iPhone 4 not "finding" wireless keyboard

Question

... even though my iPad does (so it doesn't seem like it can be a battery problem.)

I've tried:

turning off Bluetooth on the iPad and even putting it into Airplane mode so I don't think it can be interfering with the iPhone's (now on ios5) access to the keyboard.
On the iPhone, turning off Bluetooth and then turning it back on (multiple times). Also turning off both Bluetooth and turning on AirPlane mode and then turning them both off again.
Turning off the iPhone and turning it back on again (multiple times).

Any suggestions

I haven't tried this since before I upgraded to ios5 - any chance that is the problem?

you dont provide any sort of information as to what bluetooth keyboard this could be important I would say

I use mine with both a tiny bluetooth keyboard and a imac keyboard with ios5 on my iphone4 without any problems
