Hi, does anyone know if there is a cable that will allow camera view from the itouch 4G? I have found a couple cables online that will allow netflix to be played on TV or monitor with the red, yellow white composite plugs but would like to know if the camera mode can be viewed on external monitor or TV.

The Camera app on the 4G iPod does not support TV out.
If you have a Mac computer, there are apps that allow you to see the iPod's camera on the computer monitor. You can even take pictures.
this question does not apply to an app, but the cable itself. Its an Apple AV composite cable, when plugged in it will allow certain apps to be viewed externally. I have heard jailbreaking iphone 4 allows external view of almost anything seen on the iphones screen ( and maybe ipod touch 4th Gen). I wanted to confirm if it is possible to view the feed that the camera, unless it does rely on the cameras app. thankyou! john
As I said, TV out oy works for the apps that support TV out. The Camera App does not support TV Out.
It is against the terms of the forum to discuss jailbreaking.
