Hi,

I found the fix!!

I was having the same issues for months and was not able to resolve it until last night.

I discovered the solution purely by accident while trying to resolve the issue and it is so simple you will laugh.

CLOSE MS-OUTLOOK

I was looking at all of the recommendaed fix's and I thought to myself, I wonder if the issues is a record lock?

I closed MS-Outlook and ran the Sync again and no conflict sync errors appeared. To test this out again I went to get my iPad and ran a Sync and low and behold no more conflict Sync errors.

Perhaps this solution will work for you also.

All the best!

Dwight

I have deleted all items from my outlook delete folder and then closed Outlook and then tried to sync the phone to Outlook. I didn't get the usually message about inability to access conflict database, but the devices didn't synchonize the calendars either. The "contacts" will sync but not the calendar. Additional suggestions about how to potentially identify corrupt calendar events or other sources of corruption are welcome. I only mention this avenue because when I had similar problems with my Blackberry Curve and worked with a tech from RIM, this (a corrupt event) was the source of my problem. Once I deleted that or those events, synchonization worked perfectly. Thanks for your suggestions.

I am on a windows vista x64 pc with the latest itunes and operating system updates.

I am getting the same error when I sync:

"Unable to retrieve conflict information from the sync server. Please try again the next time the conflict resolver window is present"

I looked at the comments above.

Did the following

1) Removed Contact/Calendar/Notes entries in the OUTLOOK Deleted Items folder.

Closed outlook and tried to resync and still got the error

2) Then I removed Icloud from the computer and rebooted.

Tried to resync after the reboot and still got the same error.

Anyone still having this problem and have any other solutions?

Same problem here. Windows XP Professional 2002, Otlook 2003 and iOS 5 with iPhone 4. As soon as I installed the i OS 5 the problem appeared, not syncronizing Contacts, Calendar and what else... Solved problem with Contacts but still no luck with Calendar. Restored, Advanced syncing, fake new phone, remove and reinstall iTunes, etc. No luck!!!

Here is how I resolved it:

1. Plug your device and make sure that Itunes opens up

2. From Itunes, open up your device (mine is iPhone)

3. Go to infos

4. Change your "Do not synchronize events older than..." choice

5. Re-synchronize

6. Reset your your "Do not synchronize events older than..." choice the way you want it to be.

7. Re-synchronize.

I my case, it resolved the problem.

Go ahead and try the above approaches:

1. Delete contacts/calendar/notes from deleted items folder.

2. Sync w/ MS Outlook closed.

3. Change the "do not sync older than" option.

None of those worked for me, but if they work for you awesome! If not, here is how I fixed it for my situation:

I had nine conflict messages. Four were for calendar events, the rest for outlook notes.

1. I noticed that the four calendar events were quite old, so I deleted them from outlook.

2. Sync. Error was gone.

Had the error not cleared, the next step were:

3. Create a new copy of the five notes but with v2 at the end.

4. Sync. You now have v2s on both phone and pc.

5. Delete the originals.

6. Sync again. You should now have only the v2s and... no errors!

7. Rename the v2s to remove the v2s. They now look like the originals.

8. One last sync. No errors and everything should look good!

I am on windows 7, iphone 6 plus.

Good luck!
