Photo quality poor after transferring from iPhone to Computer

I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. I have the new iPhone 4s and when I transferred my photos from the iPhone to my PC the picture quality was worse once I transferred them. They are bright and clear on my iphone, but once I transfer them they are fuzzy, muted and of poorer quality. Is there a way to fix this. I have tried emailing myself and transfering them using an app as well and each time they come out blurred and not nearly as vibrant as they are on my phone.

Actually I am transferring them directly as if it was from my digital SLR camera. I find the folder they are in and move them over to my computer. I don't use an app or anything that plays the middle man. That is what baffels me. I have never had this happen either. I am just surprised that when I look at them on my phone they are vibrant and clear, but when I move them over to my computer they look slightly muted and fuzzy.

Transferring the photos from your iPhone with which app?

When there are photos/videos in the Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer, and photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digtial camera. I have never had the quality of photos reduced from any digital camera including from the iPhone's Camera Roll as part of the photo import process.
