Siri doesn't understand me and I am Pakistani

It doesnt understand my accent. I have to speak very carefully even than It understands me rarely.

Like If i say ''Remind me to print CTC engagement letters tomorrow'' It will come up with something like ''Remind me to ProFine CBC engagement tomorrow'' , most of the times its much far away from that.

I speak english fluently and is always understood easily even by native english speakers..

I understand that over time Siri will learn my accent and understand me better, how would that be possible? If at all thats true... ?

Please help!

Yea man, I was quite hopeful and purchased the 4S only because of Siri but as of now It seems only a marketing glamour.

Do you think It would learn our accent ? Or is this note the ultimate reality:

Can I use Siri in any of these languages in other countries?

Yes. Siri can be enabled in any country, and you can choose to speak to it in English, French, or German. However, Siri is designed to recognize the specific accents and dialects of the supported countries listed above. Since every language has its own accents and dialects, the accuracy rate will be higher for native speakers

Can't say anything. Hoenstly I am not even thinking about Siri right now, I have a bigger issue of battery warming up and tyeh battery drainage. This phone is way less than what i expected and apple customer service uis aksing to wait and i am sure my phone will suffer from a physical battery damage by that time. I am dissapointed and actually done with apple. There are other good phones out there. I heard and used them too and they are pretty good!

Siri, is very specific about the pronunciation that it currently recognises. While someone may speak fluent English the variances in that spoken English are very wide. I would suspect that a Pakistani speaking fluent English will still carry traits of the native language. Certianly from my friends at work who speak fluent English as a second language the pronunciation is very different from me as a native Brit.

I am not one of those people who acts like they are smarter than everyone else and rudely corrects people when they say something like "you did really good," instead of "you did really well." Or, when somebody says "Pakistanian" instead of "Pakistani." But, when someone incorrectly tries to correct someone, I cannot resist. So, Bear HunterX, the term is Pakistani. If you are going to correct people, make sure you know what you are talking about. And, no, I am not Pakistani. I am an American and an Oklahoman (not an Amercanian or Oklahomian)."
