Macbook Pro won't start at all, no chime, no gray screen, nothing

My 2+ year old MacBook Pro won't start. Nothing happens when the start button is pushed, no chime, nothing. I've tried Control-Command-Start; nothing. I've tried with and without power connected; nothing. I've unplugged the power adapter from the wall, still nothing. Any ideas?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

If your MacBook Pro is a 2008, it may be your graphic card. It turns on, no chime, black screen , only very low sound of the drive spinning. No other response. Holding down the power key completely turns it off. See on the bottom of the support page about repairs and extended warranties. It it is the graphic card discussed their, Apple will fix it for free (new logic board/ graphic card).
