I no longer have the old Firewire iPods, but before I pitch the chargers and cables, I was wondering if they could be used to charge an iPhone 4. It seems you can never have too many chargers, right?

Thanks for the response, and I can confirm that you are correct. I plugged a FireWire AC adapter & cable in to a 3G iPhone, and the message appeared, stating "Charging is not supported with this device."
Can iPod Firewire charger & cable be used to charge iPhone 4
