I need to watch some videos online for a class a class of mine but they require QuickTime Player. is there a way to download this onto my new iPad, or will I not be able to watch videos through QuickTime ever?

There is no way to download any QuickTime installer to your iPad, but the iPad natively will support QuickTime videos as long as they're in a format the iPad can handle. Are you having problems playing these videos, or are you just inquiring about QT capability?
I am having difficulty streaming some videos online. The only option given on from the site is to download Quickplayer.
Is there any alternative to Quickplayer that is easy to use?
They probably have not provided the videos in a format that the iPad can play. Are these videos on a publicly-available page where someone here can take a look and either confirm or offer suggestions?
I don't know of any player that can handle QuickTime formats not natively supported by the iPad, though there may be something out there I've missed.
