I have all my music collection in winamp, and I would rather not having to switch to iTunes. Winamp is supposed to have iPod support, but I can't make it detect my iPhone 4s. iTunes detects it fine though, I can make backups and all that. Do I need anything else to make this work?

you can only transfer music to your idevice using iTunes.
really? I've searched online and itt seems that many programs can do that (MediMonkey, SongBird, Winamp itself...). Winamp has even an option to set up the iPhone sync, only that I can't make it detect my phone...
I think you have your answer, don't you?
thanks for your replies, I just find it hard to believe that there's no other sotware or another way that can get that done. I'm not doubting that it can be done, my doubt is if maybe with the new iPhone or the new iOS something has changed and those programs don't work anymore, so I'm hoping that someone has a solution for that.
