I have an iPhone 4s (my first). I tried editing a photo by cropping on the phone and it appears that I cannot progress to the actual 'crop.' I don't have a "crop" button - just "Constrain" I touch that and have tried everything but it just won't crop and move ahead. At this point I would even delete the picture just to move on but I can't get anywhere! Please help.

I just had the same thing happen to me!
Power off your phone completly and re-start it.
That worked for me!
I faced the same issue...stuck up when went to edit photo...and yes re-starting the phone worked...but its bug and needs to be fixed !!
If it happens again, try closing the photo app in the multi tasking bar (double tap home button, hold down the photo app icon until the icons start jiggling, then hit the "-"). Should clear the issue and its a lot faster than restarting the phone.

Try a Reset. Hold down Power and Home button until Apple logo appears. Then release and wait to reboot.

The reason it happened on my phone was that I had deleted a picture from my computer and re-synced. That same picture happened to be THE ONE on my iPhone's screen at the time. It's a bug... should be a way to bail without going through the grief of typing one of these l o n g replies and words of appreciation to the guy who solved the problem for you.
