Japanese (Romaji) keyboard or dictionary/look up trouble

If I type in a word beginning with either ちゅう (cyuu) or ちょう (cyou) using the Japanese (Romaji) Keyboard I am not given any kanji to choose from that begin with the aforementioned sounds (which should be copious).

I have tried powering the device off/on, performing a reset (with the buttons), disabling and the re-enabling the keyboard in the settings, but the issue is still present.

I noticed this issue after moving to iOS 5. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

iPhone 4, iOS 5

Typing in chyuu or chyoo doesn't appear to work in iOS 5 (I ended up getting cひゅう and cひょう respectively). I also failed to mention in my first post that the issue also affects ちゃ (when typed as cya). Too get around this issue for the time being I type in the letter "L" then followed by "yu" (to get ゅ), "ya" (to get ゃ), and "yo" (to get ょ) all following ち of course. This allows me to see the various kanji that start off with these sounds, but this shouldn't be they only way for me to view the kanji. Thanks for taking the time to reply to the original message. But I think this may require a software fix (I could be wrong though). Thanks again.

The problem doesn't occur when using the kana keyboard (but the romaji keyboard is far easier to use). When using the romaji keyboard I can type in し(ゃょゅ), ひ(ゃょゅ), に(ゃょゅ), and so on then choose from the various kanji that show up above the keyboard. The issue seems to be with just ち(ゃょゅ) when you type in cya, cyo and cyu (I haven't noticed the issue elsewhere).
