why does iPad show not charging when plugged into computer?
It charges plugged into the wall.

Many computer USB ports do not put out enough current to charge the iPad. The port on your keyboard is the worst. Try using a port on the CPU itself.
Because most computers don't have enough power to charge a iPad
The computers USB port does not provide sufficient power to chargecthe iPad. Charge your iPad by plugging using the charger that came with it.
