I have a user who has blue and yellow dots on her screen. When you move a window around the dots disappear and then they come back. The computer they are using is a 27' iMac, running 10.6.8. Here is an image of problem. Is the display or video card going bad?

No one has responded, anyway. I have done some troubleshooting on this. Have logged in with another account and the dots still appear on that account. Currently have connected another monitor to the iMac to see if the dots appear on the second monitor. I will update this post just in case someone has a similar problem.

I have this same problem with my 27" iMac. Will probably have to take it in to be fixed. No applecare for that device. 😟
