Error 10810 - finder quit and won't reboot? Also, what happens to files I delete when finder is down?

Finder quit a while ago, and I've tried everyhting I could think of... well, everything I found on Google. I've restarted my computer several times, etc. I'm wondering if there is a way to reboot finder myself, or should I take it in to the Apple Store?

Also, what happens to files I've deleted recently? I had a massive itunes upheaval last night, and none of the files showed up in the trashbin, it's completely empty, it won't even open... same with photos I've deleted.

Thanks for your help!
