I lost my iPod Touch and have the pass code set on it. Can anyone who found it get into it without knowing the code? I have iCloud and I keep checking to see if it goes online and so far every time I check it it says offline. But I keep getting emails saying that my IPOD was locked using my pass code, when I go check in iCloud it's offline. Can someone please help me. Thanks.

You said that it is locked. If it is locked, then it is unlikely that anyone can access your information. They can restore the ipod and use it as their own, but your info should be safe. Change your passwords anyway.
- If you have an easily guessed passcode they can get in.
- Somebody like the CIA might be able to get around the passcode
- Otherwise, you are safe. However, I would keep trying to remote wipe it just in case.
@roaminggnome I asked for help just to see if anyone can get into it without knowing my password and you anwsered my question when you said they can restore it. Now if they restore it can I still track it down?

- To restore the iPod requires placing the iPod in recovery mode which erases the iPod. All the data is gone and so is the ability to track it.
- You said your iPod was already locked with a passcode. If it was not locked, the FindMyiPod feature allos you to remotely lock the iPod. It also allows you to remotely wipe the iPod which also means you can't locate it anymore.
Yea it was already locked when I lost it and I keep remotely locking it, but I don't want to wipe it out cause I won't be able to find it that away. But I keep getting emails saying it was locked using my code at times I'm not even by the computer to lock it. But thanks for helping me with my question.
