Keynote is not activated for iCloud

I try to use iCloud for my presentations. I should be able to do so after moving from MM to iCloud. Unfortunately, under iCloud I get offers to buy Keynote or Pages, and in the menu on my computer "Test iCloud" (or similar) is greyed out. What does this mean? I did not by iWork from the Appstore, but earlier on DVD. Do they expect me to buy them again?
