We are running active sync exchange on the iphone. We run exchange 2007. When the user deletes messages in outlook those messages are still available on the users iphone and not deleted.
I have attempted to remove the moble sync from the users exchange account and deleted and readd the account to the users iPhone. This has not fixed the issue.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

It appears the users outlook profile had an issue. I deleted the users, outlook profile and created a new one. The new profile was populated with the exchange mailbox data and works correctly.
Therefore the solution to my issue was to create a new exchange profile.
