I would love to know how to put a purchased dvd on my Iphone. I downloaded mac the ripper from the internet. I was able to get the dvd on my desk top of mac book pro, but, mac won't read files. Any help is greatly appreciated !!

Handbrake will transcode video to a variety of formats and sizes, optimized for a variety of devices.
Keep in mind, though- commercial DVDs usually have some form of copy-protection, and circumventing that may not be legal. Continue at your own risk.
