Thanks for helping, i have just reset the network settings but Siri is still not working. It keep on saying 'i am really sorry , i could not take any request right now please try again later'.So what am i supposed to do?

By the sounds of that, it sounds like a localized problem.

Have you tried doing a hard reset:

Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button in simultaneously, ignore the slide to power off, keep holding both the buttons until you see the Apple logo appear, then release both of the buttons.

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

If that does not bring Siri to life then the next step is to restore the iPhone to the factory settings. You can back up the iPhone to save all of your settings and after the restore to the factory defaults you can restore from your backup. However, your backup could perpetuate the issue, so you might consider a restore to the factory default and then set the iPhone up again as a new phone.

I just updated my ipad 2 and the screen is showing that I need to plug in to itunes.  So I did that and itunes says I

need to restore my ipad to original settings. Says it has detected an ipod in recovery mode and must be restored before it can be used with itunes. The ipad screen seems to be stuck with a picture of a usb cable and an arrow pointing to the itunes picture.  Any suggestions?

    Dear iPad fans,

I updated my iPad2 from the very release of iOS5.0.1. No problems encountered throughout the update process. Nevertheless, after these days of using and trial, I came to find that the Wifi connection of the dropped significantly whilst compared with iOS5. I use my notebook to connect to the same router with the network speed test (using Windows 7 Home Premium most updated version). I close one another to test them. At the adjourning periods of time, my iPad2 is at the low end significantly.

When I was in iOS 5 environment, the iPad2 is much faster in internet connection than the Win 7. Does any fans get the same experience ? How can I rectify my iPad2's setting. Can I revert back to iOS 5 ?

Had iphone 4s for a week running ios 5.0 just fine. Battery wasn't great so I foolishly trusted apple and updated.

Since then, I had three time the warning saying that the sim card is not recognized, which can be solved by restarting. But the worst of all is that both 2G and 3G reception is always going down, altough it shows good bars on screen. I can't receive sms, calls of data information, neither can I make a phone call. If I try, the phone stalls for about 30 sec and after that the call fails, the reception bars go down and it starts searching for carrier. After about a minute it always finds it, everything works for a couple of minutes or one phone call and then all goes dead again, while telling me that it still has good signal. It not only doesn't work, but it even wants to make you believe that everything is fine. LIAR!!! Shameful software updade by Apple. And also the service care in Portugal is outrageous. I've spend all afternoon without getting a decent reply from anyone.

Restore the iPhone to the factory settings and set it up again as a new phone.

Nothing wrong with the update, millions of iOS devices worldwide are having great success with it.

I've tried resetting it several times with no success either. Why can't Apple just release a statement. This network malfuncion is afecting loads of people. Shameful.

What network malfunction? You have mentioned nothing before about a network malfunction. Stop ranting about Apple and explain your issue with your iPhone calmly and completely.

Also, the process of resetting an iPad is not the same as the process of restoring an iPad, so you need to be clear about what you have and what you have not tried to do to resolve the problems.
