iTunes and GarageBand

I recently updated iTunes to 10.5. Prior to update, I was able to drag a music clip into an old version of GarageBand. Now, I'm unable to do this. I haven't updated GarageBand, so, I'm wondering if there is anyway to uninstall the last iTunes update, or is there a setting on iTunes that I need to disable?
